Roussos Leonidas

Leonidas Roussos graduated in 2004 from the DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE of the ATHENS UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS, completing the POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM in INFORMATION SYSTEMS, while previously in 2003 he had graduated from the undergraduate program of the same department.

He has been working since 2009 in the Department of Audits and Security of the Data Protection Authority as an Information Systems Security Auditor and Data Protection Officer. His responsibilities include auditing policies, procedures and security measures, conducting security audits, developing audit programs for technologies such as CentOS/Oracle Linux - Apache Http-Oracle Database, conducting penetration testing and network vulnerability analysis, as well as investigating data breach incidents.

Previously, he worked at Ernst & Young and Deloitte as an Information Systems Security Auditor from 2005 to 2009. His responsibilities included auditing security measures and procedures, the use of audit methodologies and tools, data analysis with ACL software, as well as auditing compliance with regulatory standards, e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley 404 Act.

He has teaching experience working as a professor at the Eleusis Institute of Profesional Education in the academic year 2008-2009, taking on the courses of Operating Systems, using a laboratory and learning basic commands and Databases, where he taught the Entity Relationship model, normalization and the Physical and Logical Database Design.
