The aim of the program is to introduce students to the social and psychological concepts of Organizational Psychology and its applications in organizations. The program delves into concepts such as perception and stereotypes, work attitudes, stress, group dynamics, leadership, learning theories, and effective communication. Understanding these concepts enables students to comprehend businesses and behaviors within them and develop ways to improve workplace behaviors.
The educational material comprehensively covers the program's content and includes videos with the instructors, study material, practical examples, and the book "Organizational Psychology & Behavior" by Vakola, M. & Nicolaou, I., 2019, Rosili Publications. The program includes regular communication and updates from the scientific/teaching team with participants, as well as real-time support through teleconferencing.
Learning Goals
The Organizational Psychology Program constitutes an e-learning education aiming at understanding behaviors within businesses and developing ways to maintain and improve them. By completing the program, participants will have gained knowledge of specific concepts such as individual differences, work satisfaction, group dynamics, motivation, and the ability to apply them in businesses, including personnel assessment and selection, teamwork, communication with supervisors and colleagues, leadership of teams or departments, etc.

Understanding and interpreting the behavior of individuals and groups in the workplace is one of the most significant challenges in the modern organizational environment. Based on current and classic theories, the program empowers students to comprehend businesses and behaviors within them, enabling them to find effective solutions to issues related to human dynamics.
Learning Method Description
The program uses the eLearning educational method: learning takes place purely asynchronously (that is, on days and hours that serve the trainee, without mandatory attendance at a specific time or day), exclusively remotely (using a special educational platform via the internet from the trainee's area) and using digital educational tools such as video lectures, interactive self-assessment exercises, and other elearning tools that ensure effective and flexible individual self-learning. The program's training material becomes available at specific time periods, based on the training path followed, and then remains available on the training platform without restrictions throughout the duration of the program.

Vocational Education and Training Certificate
Trainees who successfully complete the program are granted a Vocational Education and Training Certificate of the Center for Education and Lifelong Learning of the Athens University of Economics and Business, which is accompanied by a Supplement to the Certificate, detailing the subject of the program, the thematic units attended by the trainee , as well as the training methodology followed.
