Short Overview
The purpose of this program is to equip participants-whether they hold teaching or administrative positions within the broader field of education-with foundational theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and tools that will enable them to understand the principles of educational unit management and to effectively apply these tools in their professional practice. To this end, the program incorporates and emphasizes contemporary trends and approaches, offering interdisciplinary perspectives drawn from various academic fields and areas of expertise.
Learning Goals
Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to:
- Understand the fundamental concepts and tools related to the administration of educational units.
- Apply and implement these concepts practically within their own work environment.
Program Value
The program is designed to award points in public sector competitions or similar competitive procedures. However, since the Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning Center of the Athens University of Economics and Business (KEDIVIM AUEB) does not define the eligibility criteria for participation in the various competitions, nor can it foresee potential changes in the terms of participation, interested individuals should verify on a case-by-case basis whether the program meets the requirements of the competition they wish to participate in.

The educational material includes electronic slides and self-assessment tests.
Evaluation Method And Final Grade Computation
At the end of each thematic section there will be a quiz of approximately 15 questions. Participants must achieve a score of at least 50% on all quizzes.
Learning Method Description
The program uses the eLearning educational method: learning takes place purely asynchronously (that is, on days and hours that serve the trainee, without mandatory attendance at a specific time or day), exclusively remotely (using a special educational platform via the internet from the trainee's area) and using digital educational tools such as video lectures, interactive self-assessment exercises, and other elearning tools that ensure effective and flexible individual self-learning. The program's training material becomes available at specific time periods, based on the training path followed, and then remains available on the training platform without restrictions throughout the duration of the program.

Vocational Education and Training Certificate
Trainees who successfully complete the program are granted a Vocational Education and Training Certificate of the Center for Education and Lifelong Learning of the Athens University of Economics and Business, which is accompanied by a Supplement to the Certificate, detailing the subject of the program, the thematic units attended by the trainee , as well as the training methodology followed.
Target Audience
The program is for educators and, more broadly, for professionals working in both public and private educational sector (e.g., permanent and substitute teachers in public schools, private school educators, school principals, educational advisors, administrative staff of the Ministry of Education, as well as employees of its affiliated departments and supervised agencies). It is designed for those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the management of educational institutions. The program's duration is 7 months.
Prerequisite Knowledge
No prior academic background or professional experience is required for the successful participation in or comprehension of the program. Moreover, prospective participants are not required to submit any supporting documentation upon application.

Mode And Frequency Of Communication
Communication between the trainees and the scientific director and the program instructors can take place through the educational platform and via email as many times as the trainees themselves wish.
Cost
ELEARNING: 290€
Installements
The total amount of tuition is €290 and is paid in two installments. The first installment, of €150, is paid as an advance before the start of the courses, to secure the place, and the second, of €140, is paid before the program is half completed. In the event of a discount, the above amounts are reduced proportionally. Especially in the case of a 20% discount, the above amounts are set at €232 (total amount), €130 (first installment - advance payment) and €102 (second installment).
Trainees are informed of the installment amounts and related deadlines via email upon their acceptance into the program.
